A grainy picture reportedly copied from the crime scene in Perugia, Italy, where a British student was found slain, has been published by European newspapers.

The photo shows where Meredith Kercher died on Nov. 1.

Kercher’s roommate, University of Washington exchange student Amanda Knox, is being held with two others in an Italian prison.

British newspapers reported that Knox has given conflicting reports of what happened the night Kercher died.

Recently, Knox told police she was not at home at the time of the killing.

Several British newspapers are reporting that police have video of her approaching the home on the night Kercher was killed.

Knox’s friends in Seattle said they are following developments in the case.

“It’s completely out of the ordinary and not what you would expect from her at all. It doesn’t fit her personality and what I knew of her, and what I know of her,” said Knox’s friend, Dominick Balsoma.

This photo was reportedly copied from a police crime scene and splashed all over European newspapers.
