I-5 Crash Kills SUV Driver

SEATAC, Wash. -- A collision involving at least three vehicles killed a 22-year-old Fife woman on Interstate 5 Friday morning, troopers said.The woman was driving a Jeep Liberty when it collided with a school bus on I-5 near 216th Street at about 7 a.m.

Chopper 7 video showed firefighters working on the driver of the crushed SUV. There were no students aboard the school bus, and the bus driver was not seriously hurt.Troopers said the accident happened when an Acura hit the SUV, a Jeep Liberty, which then collided with the bus. A blue van involved in the collision left the scene.Troopers said the woman driving the SUV was seriously hurt, but there was no immediate information about her condition.The 6:55 a.m. accident backed up traffic in area for miles, said Chopper 7 pilot Clark Stahl.
