UPDATED: 6:42 pm PDT March 26, 2008

A man who flashed a gun at a student at Cascade High School caused authorities to lock down the school Wednesday morning, police said.

Police responding to a report of a man with a gun searched for a car the man was seen driving.

Officers spotted the car, a black Integra, about 10 minutes later and pursued it until the vehicle stopped at Third Avenue Southeast and Southeast 128th Street.

They arrested a 22-year-old Everett man and they determined the car was stolen from the Kirkland area.

The man will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property and eluding police.
