SHORELINE, Wash. -- A man known as the Ginsu Bandit was arrested Wednesday in Shoreline following his fourth alleged bank robbery, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. The FBI said the man robbed the City Bank on Ballinger Way in Shoreline, left the building and was pointed out to police by a group of nearby construction workers. He was found by police hiding under a bush and was arrested by Shoreline police, an FBI spokesman said. The man was caught on surveillance cameras entering and leaving the bank. The FBI said the man’s greed led to his arrest.“He kept trying to get more and more money. As a result, police were arriving at the scene as he was leaving,” said Robbie Burroughs with the FBI.The robber was dubbed the Ginsu Bandit by authorities because he used serrated hunting knives to threaten tellers’ lives during the robberies, investigators said.
