Fire Damages Office At Apartment Complex

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Fire erupted at a Federal Way apartment complex late Thursday night, engulfing three rooms of what appeared to be the complex's office and clubhouse, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.Witnesses said they heard popping sounds during the fire that broke out after 11 p.m. at The Park, a complex in the 31700 block of 50th Lane Southwest.Firefighters knocked the flames down by venting the roof and dousing the fire with water.No one was inside that part of the building at the time.Firefighters said they are investigating what caused the fire.
