Man Shot At Lakewood Apartment

LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- Police caught a gunman after a man was shot three times in the 2400 block of 96th Street South in Pierce County.An off-duty Pierce County Sheriff's Officer heard shots fired at the Woodland Apartments in Lakewood.KIRO 7 reporter Kevin McCarty said police locked down a 20-block section of the neighborhood in search of the gunman.They were able to find and arrest him after witnesses gave police a detailed description.The victim was shot over drugs and a girl, according to Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer.He was shot in the hand and twice in the stomach. The victim was transported to the hospital, Troyer said the victim is going to survive and is talking to detectives.
