Body Found On Ruston Train Tracks

RUSTON, Wash. -- A woman's body was found on train tracks in Ruston Friday morning, KIRO 7 reported.

The Pierce County Medical Examiner's office said that the woman's body was discovered around midnight in the 4900 block of Ruston Way.

A Burlington Northern Sante Fe spokesman said that someone on a passing freight train spotted the body on the tracks.

Ruston police are investigating how the body ended up on the train tracks.
