ALLYN, Wash. -- One student was slightly hurt in the collision of a school bus and a truck in Mason County early Tuesday.

Troopers said the student suffered a minor knee injury in the collision involving bus and a water truck collided on Highway 3 at North Bay Street in Allyn a few minutes before 7 a.m.

School district officials said the student who was hurt was the only child on the bus. He and the bus driver were taken to a hospital for examination.

Video from Chopper 7 showed the bus with rear-end damage. The water truck appeared to have rear-ended the bus.

Both vehicles were driven away from the scene of the collision.
