SEATTLE -- Police and fire department personnel responded to the scene of a stabbing in West Seattle.

Police said a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen by his former girlfriend.

Video from Chopper 7 showed multiple police cars and the victim being treated outside a home in the 6000 block of 21st Avenue Southwest.

Police took an 18-year-old girl into custody in connection with the incident.

The man was loaded into a medical unit and transported to the hospital.

The victim's condition is not known.
