Police Search For Suspect In Seattle Stabbings

POSTED: 4:30 pm PDT May 15, 2008
UPDATED: 6:06 pm PDT May 15, 2008

Police are searching for a man who they say stabbed his wife and another man this weekend.

The suspect is 41-year-old Eusebio Hernandez-Espinoza, also known as Nelson Hernandez.

The double stabbing occurred Sunday in the 100 Block of Eighth Avenue. Hernandez-Espinoza's wife was found in the doorway of her apartment and the man was found collapsed at Yesler Way and Broadway in Seattle.

Police said Hernandez-Espinoza and his estranged wife were at a bar last Saturday in Burien when they met and befriended an unknown male. The three then returned to the wife's apartment.

Police said Hernandez-Espinoza eventually got a knife and stabbed both his wife and the man numerous times.

Officers responded to the 911 call and both victims were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Hernandez-Espinoza is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches, approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He may be driving a white pickup truck with Idaho license plates. The truck may have a brown or black canopy.

Police said anyone with information on Hernandez-Espinoza whereabouts should call Seattle police dialing 911 and should not attempt to contact him.
