Police: Fircrest Robber May Have Hit Other Banks

Police are searching for a masked man caught on surveillance video robbing a Fircrest bank who they believe has struck before.

The video was captured during a robbery at a branch of a U.S. Bank in Tacoma. On Tuesday, May 6, around 9:25 a.m. the robber entered the branch at South 19th Street and Mildred in Tacoma.

The robber is described as a very light-skinned black male, 20 to 30 years old, with a slender build. During the robbery he was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, white gloves and a white bandana covering his face.

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
