Pregnant Woman Assaulted During Seattle Carjacking

A 21-year-old pregnant woman said she was assaulted by a man who then took her car from her in north Seattle early Thursday, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Seattle police said they received a report of a carjacking in the 12300 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast at 4:10 a.m.

The woman complained of pain in the chest and stomach and was transported to the University of Washington Medical Center.

The car, which is still missing, is described as a dark green Mazda MX6 with Washington license number 735 RE8.

The assailant is described as a black man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He has curly hair, and was wearing black pants and a white shirt.
