Vandals Go On BB Gun Shooting Spree In Everett

EVERETT, Wash. -- Thousands of dollars in damage is left after an overnight crime spree in Everett left windows shot out on cars, a building, even a park and ride shelter.The vandalism happened overnight Thursday around 19th Avenue and El Capitan Way in South Everett.Everett police said this is likely the work of kids with a BB gun.Huge panes of glass were shattered at the Eastmont Park and Ride. Next door, BBs pierced four windows at a CPA office. Across the street, another resident woke up to a shattered window on his pickup truck, one of several shot out in the neighborhood. "I don't know who would do something like that. What would possess someone to hit every car in the neighborhood; doesn't make any sense," said resident Chris Morrison.Police said it will be hard to investigate without any witnesses. No one that KIRO 7 talked to heard or saw anything.
