Shots Fired In Lake Stevens Parking Lot

Shots were fired by a bail bondsman after he tried to arrest a woman on warrants, said Lake Stevens police.

Eyewitnesses said they heard seven or eight gunshots fired in a parking lot in the 10000 block of Lundeen Parkway in Lake Stevens.

Lake Stevens police said a bail bondsman was a trying to arrest a woman on misdemeanor warrants.

Eyewitnesses said the woman tried to get away and it looked like she tried to run over the bail bondsman with her truck.

The bail bondsman tried to shoot out the woman’s tires, said police.

The woman got out of her car and ran away on foot.

The incident remains under investigation.
