Police are looking for a man who they said stole credit cards from a vehicle and then attempted to use them at a casino early Monday morning.

The man broke into a vehicle in front of a house on Altadena Drive in Fircrest between late Sunday May 11, and early Monday morning, May 12. He stole several items from the glove box, including credit cards.

The stolen cards were used throughout Pierce County until around 2:15 a.m., when the man tried to get $1,000 in cash at the Emerald Queens Casino in Fife, said the Fircrest Police Department.

Police describe the burglar as a Hispanic male, 18 to 25 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, a medium build, black hair and a faint mustache. He was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket, jeans and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest and charges can receive up to $1,000 by calling Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.
