Missing Bellevue Man Found

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Police were searching for an elderly Bellevue man who went missing from his home Saturday morning and suffers from dementia.Charles Liggett, 68, had been missing since 6:30 Saturday morning from 1100 block of 107th Avenue Southeast.Bellevue police officer Greg Grannis told KIRO-7 that a TV viewer saw the broadcasts about the missing man and let BPD know he had been seen in Seattle.Police kept giving his description to Metro Transit, and a bus driver spotted the man and relayed his location to police.A Bellevue police detective nearby picked him up shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday and returned him home safely.
