Five teens were ejected from a vehicle as it rolled over on Interstate 405 near Renton, said the Washington State Patrol.

WSP responded around 3:45 a.m. Sunday to a rollover accident on southbound I-405 just south of state Route 900.

When troopers arrived they found that the five teenagers, ranging from 14 to 18 years old, of the 1990 white Ford Explorer, had been partially or completely ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over, said WSP.

One of the teens was found trapped underneath the vehicle, said WSP. A state patrol sergeant and several good Samaritans were able to life the vehicle and pull the man out from under it.

Another teen was found nearly unconscious in the bushes off I-405 by a police K-9 unit.

The four passengers included a 14-year-old girl from SeaTac, a 16-and 18-year- old men from Kent and another 16-year-old.

The teens all suffered injuries from cuts and scrapes to neck and back injuries to a broken arm, WSP said.

The 18-year-old driver from Auburn is listed in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center.

The driver initially reported that she was choked from behind by one of her passengers, which caused her to lose control of the SUV, said WSP. Detectives said they proved that her statement was untrue and she will be booked into King County Jail when she is released from the hospital.

She will be booked on suspicion of DUI and four counts of vehicular assault, WSP said.
