Search And Rescue Effort In Progress On Snoqualmie River

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. -- The Fall City and Eastside fire departments are conducting a search and rescue effort on the Snoqualmie River.One person may be missing.The operation is near Snoqualmie at Fish Hatchery Road, said Josie Williams with the Fall City Fire Department.Eastside Fire and Rescue is assisting in the operation and interviewing possible witnesses to find out exactly what happened.Video from Chopper 7 showed multiple people floating in inner tubes or rafts who were not wearing life jackets.The search is being concentrated in an area known as Back Eddy that is about a quarter mile from the falls.
