CHEHALIS, Wash. -- Police released a sketch of a man who raped and robbed a woman working at a Chehalis sandwich shop.A 20-year-old woman working at a Chehalis Subway store was raped, robbed and tied up at gunpoint by an attacker who is still on the loose, said police.Chehalis police told South Sound Bureau Chief Richard Thompson that the attack happened Wednesday just after 10 p.m. The woman was closing up the business that is located just off Interstate 5. One of her co-workers had just left, and somehow the rapist made it into the back door. The man was armed with a handgun. He sexually assaulted the woman and robbed the cash from the store. Then he tied her up and ripped the phone out of the wall before leaving, police said. The victim was able to get herself untied and got to a friend's house where she called 911. The victim was then transported to the hospital, but has since been released. The Subway where the woman was working did not have a surveillance camera. Detectives are checking with other businesses in the area -- hoping they were using surveillance and captured a picture of the man.The rapist is described as a white man in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, thin build, black slicked back hair, a mustache and a pock marked face.Anyone with information on this incident or if you recognize the person in this sketch, call 911.
