SEATTLE -- A collision on Interstate 5 in Seattle left a 10-mile backup in the southbound lanes of the freeway well after the wreck was cleared.

The Department of Transportation said a 2:43 p.m. collision at Yesler Way was cleared by 3:15 p.m., but traffic was backed up to Northeast 175th Street.
