KENT, Wash. -- A truck driver was arrested in Pierce County and is already in jail charged with second-degree rape, but police said they suspect he has attacked others.Richard Duane Bunch, 49, is charged with raping a 13-year-old Nevada girl at a park where he was traveling on his last trucking job for Pacific-based Gordon Trucking.According to court documents, Bunch lured the developmentally disabled teen girl into his truck, removed her clothing, then his own, and raped her so forcefully that she had to seek medical attention. Four days later, Bunch was back in Washington State staying at an Auburn motel. “Our officers went to the trucking company and found out where the driver was lodged. We arrested him as fugitive from justice,” said Sgt. Jim Pickett of the Pacific Police. A spokeswoman for Gordon Trucking confirmed the company is cooperating with police. Gordon Trucking told police information on Bunch’s routes in the last few weeks which include Eastern Washington, Oregon, Nevada and California.Bunch was fired after his arrest, the spokeswoman said, for an unrelated violation of company policy.Police want to find out if Bunch has other young victims who may not know his name. His victim did not know his name either.Bunch was caught because he kept calling his victim on his cell phone. “If he's committed any other crimes, by getting his photo out there, we hope that we can connect him with those crimes and make sure that justice is achieved in those areas,” Pickett said.Bunch is being held on $100,000 bail.If you think you know him, give your local police department a call.
