SEATTLE -- Police are searching for whoever pushed the body of a man from a moving vehicle at a South Seattle intersection Thursday morning.Homicide detectives are at the scene, at Ninth Avenue South and South Dakota Street, where witness Steve Widur reported seeing the body pushed from a black or dark-colored Kia Rio at about 7:30 a.m.Widur works at Trade-Marx Sign and Display across the street from where the body was found."I saw a black moving vehicle leave that scene and then I saw a body on the ground. That's more than I needed to see," said Widur. The death is considered suspicious but it has not been ruled a homicide, said KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Michelle Millman, who is at the scene. The body is that of a local man who was in his early 60s, police told Millman. There was no noticeable trauma to his body, police said.Another witness, who also works at Trade-Marx, told police he followed the car, which was last seen heading south on Airport Way. The car's license is a Washington plate, 549 UXG."He had the wherewithal to get the license plate and I believe he followed the vehicle for some distance," said Renee Witt with Seattle police. The vehicle is not reported stolen and it belongs to a local owner, police said.Several witnesses said the victim appeared to have medical tubing coming out of his chest.
