Blind Woman, Seeing-Eye Dog Hit By Car

SEATTLE -- A man lost control of his car Thursday night and hit and killed a blind woman and injured her seeing-eye dog, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.Seattle police said they believe the driver of the car had a seizure that caused him to lose control of his vehicle at North 85th Street and Aurora Avenue North.The 61-year-old woman was on the sidewalk when she and her dog were hit.Her service dog was treated for a dislocated hip at a veterinary hospital and should recover.Police said the 34-year-old man probably won't be charged with a crime.
