Folklife Festival Shooter Out Of Jail

Posted: 12:15 pm PDT August 30, 2008

The man who shot two people at this year's Folklife Festival is out of jail Saturday.

Clinton Grainger pleaded guilty to an incident that left two people hurt back in May. Police said Grainger got into a fight with another man and a struggle ensued with a gun that Grainger legally owned.

The gun then went off, hitting two people.

Grainger was sentenced to three months in jail, but with his time served, he was released after Friday’s court appearance.

He will be on supervised probation for two years.
