Computer Store Burglar Caught On Camera

Tacoma police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was seen on footage from a burglarized computer store's surveillance camera.

On Sunday, Aug. 31, at 1 a.m., the Compucare store in the 2600 block of South 38th Street in Tacoma was burglarized, police said.

Investigators said the burglar broke into the store through the ceiling, stole several items, including video cards, and then smashed through the door of the business and fled.

The burglar appears to be a white man who is 25 years old and has short brown hair. During the burglary, the man is seen wearing blue jeans, a dark blazer-style jacket and a tan golfing cap.

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case.
