Lynnwood Non-Profit Looking For Children's Clothes

A Snohomish County non-profit is asking for the public’s help in donating clothes for children and teenagers.

The Lynnwood “Clothes for Kids” provides thousands of low-income families in need with clothing for their kids.

The organization said it’s served a record number of families during the first weeks of the school year and now their shelves are bare.

Donations are needed for winter clothes, especially for young children and teenagers.

"The storage rooms that are normally filled with winter clothes, that replenish our inventory, they're empty," said Nancy Laird-Burris of Clothes for Kids.

Managers said they expect to serve more than 4,000 people this year.

They're asking for cash donations, as well as new and gently used children’s clothes.
