Though police won't confirm that a slain woman's ex-husband is a suspect in her killing, the family of the victim said the man is very dangerous and had been threatening the victim prior to her death on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the victim's daughter received a voice message from her mother's former husband that night while she was at church warning the girl to keep her brother and sister away from their house in South Seattle.

Shortly after, the children found their mother dead inside their home in the 7600 block of 46th Avenue South.

The victim, Noemi Lopez, worked two jobs. One was as a medical assistant at Swedish Medical Center.

Lopez's family told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that her ex-husband had been threatening her and said that the man was contemplating suicide and said he planned to take three people along with him.

The victim's family said they want people to know that the man is dangerous. They described him as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, and drives a newer gray BMW.

Detectives, who spent much of Sunday night combing the crime scene for evidence said it's still too early in the investigation to name a suspect.

Lopez leaves behind three children, ages 6, 13 and 15 years old.
