The Washington State patrol said a pedestrian killed early Thursday on Interstate 5 may have been hit by as many as seven vehicles.

Police said the car he was riding in pulled onto the shoulder in the mid-Boeing Field area so he could get out and vomit.

After doing so, he wandered into traffic and was hit by multiple vehicles, officers said.

The 53-year-old Burien man's name has not been released.

Troopers said none of the vehicles that hit him stopped because the drivers may not have realized what had happened.
