SEATTLE -- Police in West Seattle helped reunite a lost goat with its owner Tuesday. At about 5:35 p.m., a Southwest Precinct officer found a small brown goat wandering around the neighborhood at 32nd Avenue Southwest and Southwest Elmgrove Street.Unable to find the owner, the officer contacted the local Web site West Seattle Blog and sent photos of the goat, which was staying in a jail holding cell, in hopes the information would reach the owner.Police said a friend of the goat's owner saw the story and contacted the owner. The goat, which was later identified as Buddy, was reunited with his owner and was freed from jail an hour after his "arrest" by the officer.
