OLYMPIA, Wash. -- KIRO-TV has learned the Thurston County Sheriff's Office is investigating vandalism overnight at an Olympia-area church. Chief Criminal Deputy Jim Chamberlain said anarchist symbols were spray-painted on St. Michael's Catholic Church building, windows and parking lot. At least 10 windows were also smashed, causing an estimated $5,000 in damage. This is the latest in about a half dozen cases of vandalisms targeting churches in the area near The Evergreen State College.
