Two buses carrying the Eastern Washington University track team have collided after an errant driver cut off one the buses on state highway 520 just east of Seattle.

State Patrol says only minor injuries were reported, and that four people were transported to local hospitals. The buses were transporting around 75 athletes and coaches to the University of Washington for a track meet.

According to State Patrol, the buses were traveling westbound on 520 when a car cut off the first bus, forcing it to brake. The second bus, however, didn't brake in time and collided into the back of the first bus.

The driver of the car fled the scene but later crashed into a barrier. The driver is now under investigation of driving under the influence.
