Suspicious Van Follows Student Home

Parents in Thurston County are on alert after a third incident in which a student was followed on the way home from school.

The North Thurston Public School district sent a letter home to parents on Thursday about a River Ridge High School student who was followed by someone in a white van.

The student said the van followed her after school on Tuesday. The van was a white, cargo-style van was no windows and a phrase on the side written in orange and green letters.

Police said it may be connected to two similar incidents on the Feb. 5 and Feb. 11.
