B-17 Bomber Takes Flight At Boeing Field

SEATTLE -- Chopper 7 was flying past Boeing Field when the crew spotted a restored World War II-era B-17 bomber taking off on a demonstration flight Wednesday.The aircraft is visiting the Museum of Flight through the Memorial Day weekend.The Experimental Aircraft Association has the B-17G Bomber Aluminum Overcast here as part of the Salute to Veterans tour.The public can buy tickets to fly on the B-17 for $399 at the EAA's Web site or at 800-359-6217.
