Seattle Police Saturday night were investigating two separate incidents in which pedestrians were assaulted by gun-wielding robbers.

The crimes happened slightly more than an hour apart Friday night in the city’s north side.

In the first incident, a man walking in the 6800 block of Woodlawn Avenue NE was robbed at gunpoint by two men who demanded his wallet.

They got away with cash and credit cards. The victim suffered a scraped hand.

In the second incident, a man was confronted by two robbers near the intersection of NE 43rd Street and 12th Avenue NE.

The crooks robbed the man then fled. The victim was not hurt.

In both incidents, police searched the areas of the robberies, but found no suspects.

Seattle Police told KIRO TV that they did not know if the two incidents were related. Robbery detectives were picking up both cases.
