8 Units Damaged In U-Place Apartment Fire

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. -- Eight units of a University Place apartment building were destroyed or damaged by fire Monday morning.The Red Cross said four units of the Meadow Parks Garden Court Apartments were destroyed and four others were damaged by smoke and water.The apartments are at the intersection of 56th and Orchard streets.The Red Cross is assessing the needs of those who were displaced by the damage.
