Man Missing From Auburn Adult Home

Posted: 4:34 pm PDT June 25, 2009Updated: 9:57 am PDT June 26, 2009

Deputies are asking for the public's help in finding a 57-year-old man who disappeared from an Auburn adult family home.

Sydney Wayne Aydelotte, who was last seen Wednesday morning at the home in the 28849 block of 38th Avenue South, is friendly but appears to suffer from undiagnosed pre-dementia, the King County Sheriff's Office said. Sheriff’s received a tip yesterday that Aydelotte was sighted in Enumclaw but that hasn’t been confirmed.

Aydelotte is 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 250 pounds with gray hair. He was wearing a red shift shirt under a blue sweater, gray pants and white shoes.

He doesn't drive but may ride Metro busses. The man likes to collect tin cans, and will dumpster-dive to add to his collection.

The sheriff's office asked anyone who sees Aydelotte to call 206-296-3311 or 911.
