Diver Drowns At Redondo Beach

Des Moines, Washington -- A diving expedition took a deadly turn for a diver at Redondo Beach Sunday afternoon.The Tukwila man, around 60-years in age, was diving with a group in the area when he experienced trouble about 8o feet down in the water.Kendra Kay, Public Information Officer with South King Fire, tells KIRO 7 that a diver was pulled from the water and medics performed CPR, but were unable to save the man.All of the other divers in the victim's party were accounted for and safe.It is not clear at this time what sparked the trouble for the diver.
