Truck Slams Into Gate At McChord Air Force Base

TACOMA, Wash. -- A truck slammed into a gate at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma Thursday morning.Video from Chopper 7 showed the truck's front end crashed into a closed gate.The driver's truck also struck a 5,000-pound concrete barrier with enough impact to move the barrier 30 feet.The man was transported to Tacoma General Hospital for his injuries. His condition is not known.The circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
