Brush Fire Burns In Tacoma

A brush fire burned in Tacoma late Thursday. KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Gary Horcher spotted the fire while returning to Seattle after his 11 p.m. live report from Roy where he was reporting on fire danger.

The fire was located in the Nalley Valley area near the intersection of Center and "M" Streets.

Horcher and his photographer were able to catch the flames on video as they consumed several trees. The fire was quickly brought under control and no structures were involved.
