Officials in Fremont claimed Seattle was the zombie walking capital of the world Wednesday afternoon after organizing a Michael Jackson tribute with just over 4,200 zombies, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Event organizers said Seattle clinched the Guinness World Record for the biggest zombie walk by breaking the previous record of 3,370 zombies held by Grand Rapids, Mich.

During the event, all 4, 277 zombies streaked with fake blood and tattered clothes through the streets to pay homage to Michael Jackson’s famous “Thriller” video.

Official confirmation from the Guinness World Record office is expected later this week.
