Teachers' Strike Possible In Kent School District

KENT, Wash. -- Parents in the Kent School District will likely start getting letters next week warning about a possible teachers' strike.Administrators mailed the letters out Saturday.The district said talks with its teachers union are at an impasse.A state mediator is being called in.If there is no settlement by August 26 union members are scheduled to take a strike vote.
