Body Recovered In Lake Washington Off Juanita Beach

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- The body of a man was recovered in Lake Washington Thursday morning.A boater about 500 yards offshore Juanita Beach spotted what he believed was a body at about 8:30 a.m. and called 911.The King County Sheriff's Office marine unit went to the scene and recovered the body.Over the weekend, divers were unable to find 20-year-old Javed Khan who was with friends on a boat Saturday night when he jumped in and went under the water off Juanita Beach.The Medical Examiner's Office will make the final identification and notify next-of-kin.
