Power Restored To Customers In Queen Anne

SEATTLE -- Power has been restored to 6,656 Seattle City Light customers on the south and west sides of Queen Anne Hill and a portion of the Uptown area.A cable failure is believed to have caused the outage that started at about 1 p.m. Dispatchers were able to route power around the damage and restore service at about 2:15 p.m. Repairs crews are now working to replace the failed cable.Boundaries for the outage were as follows:North Boundary: West Barrett Street
South Boundary: Harrison Street
East Boundary: 2nd Avenue North
West Boundary: 11th Avenue West
Officials said they do not know yet what caused the outage.
