Hogan's Blog: Monday Morning Commute

Good Monday morning! We'll be watching the driving conditions for you and let you know if anything pops up below. Right now the roads look bare and dry with good visibility in places but we are noticing some patchy fog up north. Sam Argier says some spots are below freezing so watch out for frost in those areas this morning.

Here are the things that may have slowed you down Monday morning:

Ferry Alert: Mukilteo/Clinton - The Kittitas has returned for the 7:00am departure from Clinton and the 7:30am departure from Mukilteo. TIME: 6:50am

405 south at 195th hearing of an accident. Seeing back up through Bothell/Woodinville. I-405 south past 195th, WSP just arrived. 2 vehicled on the left shoulder. TIME: 6:49am

Ferry Alert: Mukilteo/Clinton - Due to mechanical issues with the Cathlamet, there will be one boat service on the route until further notice. TIME: 5:50am

Issaquah: Police Activity blocks the on ramp from West Lake Sammamish Pkwy to the mainlines. Hearing it's a disabled vehicle. TIME: 5:22am

Bellevue: Starting today, speed cameras will be used in elementary school zones. If you get caught it's a $124 fine this link.

Construction: Alaskan Way Viaduct-Crews will close the northbound, left lane of the Alaskan Way Viaduct from College to Massachusetts streets, Monday to Friday, Oct 5 to 9 from 9a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Fog Alert: We are seeing patchy fog on the Everett DOT cameras.

Overnight construction: I-5 through Northgate Way there is some construction going on southbound. I-405 through Renton. It should all be wrapped up around 5am.
