Man Wanted After Ballard SWAT Standoff

SEATTLE -- A man was holed up inside his Ballard apartment but was gone by the time a police SWAT team entered Sunday night, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.Police responded after neighbors said the man had a handgun and that he pointed it at them during a dispute, threatening to shoot.Police entered the apartment on Northwest 73rd Street at 15th Avenue Northwest at about 11:30 p.m., but the man was not inside.No shots were fired and no one was hurt.
