One Person Assaulted At Skyway Park

KING COUNTY, Wash. -- King County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting in a park in King County to find one victim who had been assaulted, but was not shot.Police were called after the victim was found lying on a trail Monday afternoon.The victim was found on a path from Renton Avenue to the ballfields in Skyway Park. Police said the person was beaten.Video from Chopper 7 showed multiple police cars, an ambulance and clothing strewn on the ground.King County Sheriff's Department spokesman John Urquhart said police searched with a K-9 unit but have no witnesses or suspects.The condition of the victim is not known.
