Semi-Car Crash Closes Maple Valley Highway

RENTON, Wash. -- A crash between a car and a semi closed both directions of SR 169, or the Maple Valley Highway, near Renton for hours Wednesday.Video from Chopper 7 showed a car partially-wedged under the jackknifed tractor-trailer after the crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m.A hazardous waste crew responded the scene cleaning up fluid spilled from the crashed truck.The truck stretched across all lanes of the highway.By 6:30 p.m., only one lane in each direction had reopened.It is not known if anyone was injured.
