Man Dies After Construction Incident In Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- A carpet installer died after he fell four stories at a construction site in Lynnwood.The 45-year-old man was installing carpet in the new Holiday Inn Express in the 2500 block of 196th Street Southwest when he fell at about 10 a.m. Thursday.Shannon Sessions of the Lynnwood Police Department said he was offloading carpet from a forklift when he fell from the fourth story onto the sidewalk below.He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center and later died.
