Boy, 12, First Swine Flu-Related Death In Grays Harbor County

GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY, Wash. -- KIRO 7 Eyewitness news has confirmed that a 12-year-old boy has become the first Swine Flu-related death in Grays Harbor County.The boy, who is a student at Robert Gray Elementary, came down with flu symptoms near the beginning of November and died Nov. 6.Health officials tell KIRO 7 the boy appeared to be going through the normal progression of the flu at home, but then he collapsed and could not be revived.Preliminary autopsy results show he suffered an enlargement of his heart which is a rare complication seen in such cases.
