63-Year-Old Man Killed In Edmonds Crash

A 63-year old man was killed when his van was hit by a truck in Edmonds Tuesday morning.

Police said the driver of a van was waiting at a stop light on 220th Street Southeast at 76th Avenue West when a pickup heading eastbound hit the stopped van, causing it to strike another vehicle that was also waiting at the light.

The driver of the van was transported to Harborview Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the eastbound pickup truck was also transported to Harborview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the stopped pickup truck was treated for minor injuries and released from Stevens Hospital.

Edmonds police are investigating the crash.
